Outside Supply is the brainchild of Yuta Koide of the Inconvenience Store and Max Trejo of Dirt Toads fame out of the OC! While the OC is best known for their bad TV drama and Del Taco HQ, Max and Yuta are planning on changing this.
Outside Supplyは、The Inconvenience Storeの小出ユウタと、Dirt Toadsで知られるマックス・トレホによってオレンジカウンティで立ち上げられたショップである。テレビドラマやDel Taco本社の所在地として知られるOCだが、マックスとユウタはそのイメージを変えようとしている。
Many people seeking real bike culture and Alt Bike goodness used to have to drive hours to Los Angeles to visit Bike Shops that stocked things you could only see on the internet, but now that has changed. Outside Supply has not only become a Japanese bicycle parts hub in Orange County, stocking all kinds of products from brands like Blue Lug, Nitto, and Sim Works. Max is also bringing in a more multi culty product range from his extremely diverse friend group around the United States and the world! All kinds of stuff from the Genosack crew, Outer Shell, Crust, 100 Tacos, Heading Into Sunday, LaMarche Bike Co, etc. They even have bars made by the infamous Southern California BMX brand S&M. Just think about everything you see on your Meta honed explore page via Instagram, without all the government snooping!!!
これまで本格的なバイクカルチャーやオルタナティブなバイクシーンを求める人々は、オンラインでしか見られなかったアイテムを扱うショップを訪れるため、何時間もかけてロサンゼルスまで足を運ぶ必要があった。しかし現在は状況が変わりつつある。Outside SupplyはBlue Lug、Nitto、Sim Worksなどを取り扱う日本系自転車パーツの拠点としてOCに根付き始めている。さらにマックスは、アメリカ国内外に広がる多様な友人ネットワークを活かし、Genosack crew、Outer Shell、Crust、100 Tacos、Heading Into Sunday、LaMarche Bike Coなどのプロダクトも展開している。南カリフォルニアのBMXブランドS&Mによるハンドルバーも揃う。まるでInstagramのエクスプローラーページに表示されるアイテムが現実空間に集約されたかのような構成であり、そこにアルゴリズムや監視の存在はない。

Every Friday Outside Supply invites a DJ into their space to play records on their Wheels of Steel and Yuta's homemade sound system!!! This paired with free refreshments and our friend Tak's Japanese-inspired Neapolitan pizzas just around the corner at Kuro Artisanal Pizza, makes coming down to visit Outside Supply a no brainer. Make sure and tell Yuta, Max and Tak we said HOLLA!
